If you are in the center of Gwangju, head to the nearest bus stop and take bus number 81 or 118 that goes towards Buk-gu. You will want to get off at the 'Gwangju History & Folk Museum' bus stop. From there, the museum is just a short walk. Head north on Seoha-ro for approximately 5 minutes, and the museum will be on your right at 48-25 Seoha-ro, Buk-gu.

Make your way to the nearest subway station (likely Gwangju Subway Line 1). Take the subway towards the 'Hyanggyo' station and get off at 'Seonam' station. From 'Seonam' station, exit the station and take bus number 81 towards 'Hyanggyo'. Get off at the 'Gwangju History & Folk Museum' stop. Walk north on Seoha-ro for about 5 minutes to reach the museum.
