If you're near Gwangju Subway Station, take Line 1 towards Seogwangju. Get off at the Dongmyeong Station (3 stops). Once you exit the station, head towards the main road and look for bus stops. From there, you can catch a local bus heading to Buk-gu. Get off at the 'Gwangju Museum of Art' stop, which is located directly in front of the museum.

From the city center, locate the bus stop for Bus No. 21 or No. 22. These buses head towards Buk-gu. After approximately 20-30 minutes, get off at the 'Gwangju Museum of Art' stop. The museum will be on your right, just a short walk from the bus stop.

If you're staying in the Buk-gu area, you can walk to the Gwangju Museum of Art. From the nearest major landmark, such as the Gwangju National Museum, head east on the main road for about 10 minutes. You will pass several cafes and shops. The museum will be on your left at 52 Haseo-ro.
