If you are traveling by car, start from any location in Gyeonggi Province and use a GPS navigation system to enter the following address: 1383 Gimyujeong-ro, Sindong-myeon, Chuncheon-si, Gangwon-do. The drive will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic conditions. Be prepared for some tolls on the expressway, which may cost around 10,000 to 15,000 KRW. Once you arrive, there is ample parking available near the entrance of Gangchon Rail Park.

Public Transportation (Train)
For those preferring public transportation, take the ITX-Cheongchun train from Yongsan Station or Cheongnyangni Station in Seoul towards Chuncheon. The journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at Chuncheon Station, you can take a taxi to Gangchon Rail Park, which is around a 20-minute ride (approximately 10,000 KRW). Alternatively, you can take a local bus (No. 100 or 102) from Chuncheon Station to Gangchon, but be sure to check the bus schedule as it may vary.

If you prefer to go directly by bus, you can board an intercity bus from the Dong Seoul Bus Terminal to Gangchon. Buses run frequently, and the ride takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. The ticket price is approximately 7,000 KRW. Once you arrive at Gangchon Bus Terminal, you can walk to the park, which is about 15 minutes away. Just follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Gangchon Rail Park.
