Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from Hwangnam-dong, head east on Hwangnam-ro towards the Gyeongju National Museum. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Gyochon-gil. Follow Gyochon-gil for approximately 300 meters until you see the entrance to Gyeongju Gyochon Traditional Village on your left. The total walking distance is about 2 kilometers and should take around 25-30 minutes.

Public Bus
From Hwangnam-dong, locate the nearest bus stop. Take bus number 11 or 12 towards Gyeongju Gyochon Traditional Village. The bus ride takes about 15 minutes and costs approximately 1,200 KRW. Get off at the Gyochon Traditional Village stop, and you will see the entrance to the village.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Hwangnam-dong. Following the same route as walking, cycle east on Hwangnam-ro, then continue to Gyochon-gil. The distance is about 2 kilometers, and cycling should take around 10-15 minutes. Check with the rental shop for pricing, which usually ranges from 3,000 to 5,000 KRW per hour.
