Walking
If you are in downtown Gyeongju, start by heading towards the Gyeongju National Museum, located at 200, Hwangnam-dong. From the museum, exit and walk south onto Hwangnamcheon Stream Road. Continue to follow the road as it curves, and keep walking for about 1 kilometer until you reach the entrance of Wolseong Fortress, which will be on your left at 387-1 Inwang-dong. The walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes.

From Gyeongju Bus Terminal, take Bus 10 or Bus 11. Both buses will take you to the vicinity of Wolseong Fortress. Get off at the 'Wolseong Fortress' stop. From the bus stop, the fortress entrance is a short 5-minute walk. Follow the signs leading to the fortress, which will be on your right.
