If you are driving, head towards Byeonsan-myeon, Buan-gun in Jeollabuk-do. From Gwangju, take the Gwangju-Buan Expressway (Route 1) for about 1.5 hours. Follow the signs for Buan and then for Byeonsanbando National Park. Once you reach Buan, continue onto Route 30 and follow the signs directing you to the national park. Parking is available at the park entrance, and there may be a small parking fee.

To reach Byeonsanbando National Park via public transportation, take a bus from Jeonju or Gwangju to Buan. Buses from Jeonju to Buan operate frequently, taking about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Buan Bus Terminal, transfer to a local bus heading to Byeonsanbando National Park. The local bus ride is approximately 30 minutes. Be prepared to pay for both bus tickets; the intercity bus costs around 5,000 KRW, and the local bus is about 2,000 KRW.
