Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from Gwangju, take the Honam Expressway (E1) towards Mokpo. Continue on the expressway for about 100 km. Then take the exit toward Gunsan (Gunsan IC). Follow the signs to Gunsan and merge onto National Route 15. Continue driving for approximately 20 km until you reach Okdo-myeon. From Okdo-myeon, follow the signs to Jangjado, which is located at 66-2 Jangjado-ri.

  • Public Transportation - Bus

    From Gwangju, head to the Gwangju Bus Terminal and take an express bus to Gunsan. The journey takes around 1.5 to 2 hours and costs approximately 15,000 KRW. Once you arrive at the Gunsan Bus Terminal, transfer to a local bus heading to Okdo-myeon. The local bus ride takes about 30 minutes and costs around 2,000 KRW. Get off at the stop for Jangjado-ri, and the destination is a short walk from there.

  • Public Transportation - Train

    From Gwangju, take the KTX train to Iksan Station. The train ride lasts about 30 minutes and costs approximately 20,000 KRW. Once at Iksan Station, switch to a local train heading to Gunsan. This part of the journey takes around 20 minutes. After arriving at Gunsan Station, take a taxi or a local bus to Jangjado, which is about a 15-minute ride away. Taxi fares will be around 10,000 KRW.
