Car
If you are driving, set your GPS to the address: Jeollanam-do, Gurye-gun, Masan-myeon, Hwaeomsa-ro, 539-2 KR. From the main entrance of Jirisan National Park, head southeast on the main road for approximately 15 kilometers. Follow the signs towards Hwaeomsa Temple, which is a well-known landmark. Continue on Hwaeomsa-ro for about 5 kilometers, and you will arrive at Gucheung-Am. There is parking available near the site, but be aware that it might have a small fee of around 2,000 KRW.

Public Transportation
To reach Gucheung-Am via public transportation, first take a bus from the Jirisan National Park Visitor Center to Gurye Bus Terminal. Buses run approximately every hour. Once you arrive at Gurye Bus Terminal, transfer to a local bus that heads towards Hwaeomsa Temple. Confirm with the driver that the bus stops at Hwaeomsa, as some buses may not. The fare for the local bus is around 1,500 KRW. After disembarking at Hwaeomsa, Gucheung-Am is about a 20-minute walk from the temple. Follow the signs leading towards the mountain trails, and you will reach the site.
