Getting There

Car
If you are driving, head towards Jirisan National Park via Route 17. Once you reach the entrance of the park, continue on the road until you see signs for 화엄사 (Hwaeomsa Temple). Follow the signs to Hwaeomsa Temple, which will lead you to the parking area. Park your car in the designated parking lot. From the parking area, it is a short walk towards the temple. The 석등 (seokdeung) is located in front of the 각황전 (Gakhwangjeon Hall), which you can easily find by following the main path from the temple entrance.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Gurye Bus Terminal that goes to Hwaeomsa (화엄사). The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Hwaeomsa bus stop, walk towards the temple entrance. Follow the path to the temple, which is well-marked. The 석등 (seokdeung) is located directly in front of the 각황전 (Gakhwangjeon Hall). Ensure to check the bus schedule for return trips, as they may not run frequently.
