If you're driving, start from the nearest major city, Gwangju. Take Route 1 (the Honam Expressway) heading south towards Suncheon. After about 1 hour, take Exit 34 towards Gurye-gun. Follow the signs for Gurye-gun and continue on National Route 18. After approximately 30 minutes, look for signs indicating Gakhwangjeon Hall in Masan-myeon. The address is 12 Hwangjeon-ri, Masan-myeon, Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do. There's free parking available on-site.

Public Transportation - Bus
From Gwangju Bus Terminal, take an express bus to Gurye. The bus ride takes approximately 1 hour and costs around 8,000 KRW. Once you arrive at Gurye Bus Terminal, take a local bus (Bus No. 100) towards Masan-myeon. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the Hwangjeon-ri stop, which is a short walk from Gakhwangjeon Hall. Ensure to check the local bus timetable for the most accurate schedule.

From Gwangju Station, take a KTX or Mugunghwa train towards Suncheon. The train ride takes about 45 minutes, and prices vary from 15,000 to 25,000 KRW depending on the train type. Upon arrival at Suncheon Station, transfer to Bus No. 50 towards Gurye. Get off the bus at Gurye Bus Terminal, then switch to Bus No. 100 towards Masan-myeon. Alight at Hwangjeon-ri stop for a short walk to Gakhwangjeon Hall.
