Car
If you are driving from Jirisan National Park to Deogyusan National Park, begin your journey by heading northwest on the road that leads out of Jirisan National Park. Follow the signs to National Route 17. Continue on Route 17 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 13. Take the exit onto Route 13 towards Muju. After about 20 kilometers, follow the signs to Deogyusan National Park, which will be on your left. The total drive is approximately 1 hour.

To travel by public transportation, first, make your way to the nearest bus station in Jirisan National Park. Take a local bus heading to Jeonju. From Jeonju, transfer to another bus that goes to Muju. Upon arriving in Muju, you will need to take a local bus or taxi to reach Deogyusan National Park, which is approximately 15 kilometers away. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they can vary by time of day.
