If you're starting from Mokpo Station, head to the bus stop outside the station. Look for buses that head towards 용당동 (Yongdang-dong). These buses are clearly marked with their destination. The journey will take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Get off at the 용당동 (Yongdang-dong) stop. From there, it's a 5-minute walk. Head south on Sanjeong-ro and you will see 동부시장 (Dongbu Market) on your right.

If you are near the Mokpo Maritime Cultural Center, you can walk to 동부시장. Exit the center and head east on Sanjeong-ro. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes. You will pass some local shops and cafes along the way. 동부시장 will be on your left. It's a vibrant market with many stalls and shops.

For a more convenient option, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Mokpo. Just tell the driver you want to go to 동부시장 (Dongbu Market). The fare should be reasonable, as the market is centrally located. The taxi ride will take about 5-10 minutes depending on your starting point.
