If you're traveling by car, start from Gangneung city center and head east on the Gangneung Coastal Road (Route 7). Continue on this road for about 30 minutes, enjoying the scenic coastal views. As you approach Jumunjin-eup, keep an eye out for signs directing you to Hyangho Beach. The beach is located in Hyangho-ri, Jumunjin-eup, Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do. You will need to turn right into Hyangho-ri and follow the local roads until you reach the beach. There's ample parking available near the beach, but be aware that some lots may charge a small fee, typically around 1,000 to 2,000 KRW for parking.

For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Gangneung Bus Terminal. Look for buses heading towards Jumunjin. The journey usually takes around 40 minutes, and the fare is approximately 2,000 KRW. Upon reaching Jumunjin, you can either take a local taxi or a short bus ride to Hyangho Beach. If opting for a taxi, it should cost around 5,000 to 10,000 KRW depending on traffic. Make sure to tell the driver 'Hyangho 해수욕장' to ensure you reach the correct destination. The taxi ride should take about 10 minutes from Jumunjin.
