If you are driving, start from the main entrance of Seoraksan National Park. Take the 46 highway towards Chuncheon-si. After approximately 30 kilometers, look for the signs directing you to Samaksan. You will need to turn onto a smaller road, which may not be clearly marked, but follow the GPS coordinates: Latitude 37.8399027, Longitude 127.6603117. Parking may be available near the base of the mountain, but be aware that some areas may have parking fees ranging from 2,000 to 5,000 KRW.
