Subway

From central Seoul, head to the nearest subway station and take Line 1 (the dark blue line) towards Suwon. Transfer at Suwon Station to Line 1 towards Cheonan. Travel to Gwangju Station. Upon arrival, exit the station and find bus stop 3. Take bus number 30 or 31 towards Docheok-myeon. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Docheogwit-ro stop. From there, Hwadamsup is a short 10-minute walk. Head east on Docheogwit-ro until you reach the destination at 278 Docheogwit-ro.
Bus

If you are closer to a bus terminal, take an intercity bus from Seoul Express Bus Terminal to Gwangju-si. The journey takes about an hour. Once you arrive at Gwangju Intercity Bus Terminal, walk to the nearest bus stop and catch bus number 30 or 31 towards Docheok-myeon. Get off at the Docheogwit-ro stop, then walk east on Docheogwit-ro for about 10 minutes to reach Hwadamsup at 278 Docheogwit-ro.
