Subway
If you're starting from Seoul Station, take Line 4 (the light blue line) in the direction of Danggogae. Get off at the 'Itaewon' station (2 stops). Transfer to Line 6 (the brown line) at Itaewon and head towards 'Sangsu'. Get off at 'Hangangjin' station (1 stop). From Hangangjin station, take exit 1 and walk straight for about 10 minutes. You will reach the National Museum of Korea at 137 Seobinggo-ro.

From Myeongdong, you can take bus number 740. Board the bus at the Myeongdong Station bus stop and ride for about 20 minutes. Get off at the 'National Museum of Korea' stop. The museum will be directly in front of you. Cross the street to enter the museum.
