Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're in Insadong, start by heading towards the main street, Insadong-gil. Walk straight along Insadong-gil, and when you reach the intersection with Samil-daero, turn right. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you see Unhyeongung on your left side at 464 Samil-daero. The entrance is marked and easily identifiable.

  • Public Bus

    From Insadong, find the nearest bus stop and take bus number 109 or 151. Board the bus heading towards 'Gyeongbokgung Station'. After about 5 stops, alight at 'Samil-daero' bus stop. From there, walk about 5 minutes in the direction of the bus route, and you will find Unhyeongung on the left at 464 Samil-daero. Note that the bus fare is around 1,250 KRW.

  • Subway

    Make your way to the nearest subway station in Insadong, which is Anguk Station (Line 3). Take the subway in the direction of Daehwa Station and get off at the next stop, Jongno 3-ga Station. Transfer to Line 1 and head towards Seodongtan Station. After one stop, alight at Gyeongbokgung Station. Exit the station and walk straight for about 10 minutes along Sejong-daero until you reach Samil-daero. Turn left, and Unhyeongung will be on your left at 464 Samil-daero. The subway fare is about 1,350 KRW.
