Getting There

  • Subway

    Take Line 1 (the light blue line) from any station towards City Hall Station (시청역). Once you arrive at City Hall Station, use Exit 4. After exiting, walk straight ahead for about 5 minutes until you reach the entrance of Cheonggyecheon.

  • Bus

    Find a bus stop serving routes 401, 402, or 500, and board one of these buses that head towards Jongno District. Get off at the Cheonggyecheon stop (청계천). Once you get off, follow the signs to the Cheonggyecheon Stream entrance, which is a short walk away.

  • Walking

    If you are near Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), it is about a 15-minute walk to Cheonggyecheon. Head west on Euljiro 7-ga street towards the Cheonggyecheon Stream. As you walk, you will see signs leading you directly to the stream.

  • Taxi

    Though you are not traveling by car, if you decide to take a taxi, tell the driver '청계천 가주세요' (Please take me to Cheonggyecheon). The driver will know the location. It’s a short distance and should not cost much.
