Experience Donhwamun Gate

Getting There

  • Subway

    If you are near a subway station, take Line 3 (the Orange Line) and head towards the 'Anguk' Station. Upon arriving at Anguk Station, use Exit 1. After exiting, walk straight for about 400 meters until you reach the intersection. Donhwamun Gate will be on your left, just past the entrance to Gyeongbokgung Palace.

    To reach Donhwamun Gate by bus, find a bus stop that services routes 102, 104, 109, 151, or 162. Board one of these buses and get off at the 'Gyeongbokgung Palace' stop. From there, you can walk towards the main entrance of Gyeongbokgung Palace, and Donhwamun Gate will be directly in front of you.
