Getting There

  • Subway

    Start by heading to the nearest subway station. If you're in central Seoul, you can take Line 4 (the light blue line) to the 'Hyehwa Station' (혜화역). At Hyehwa Station, take Exit 1. After exiting, walk straight for about 400 meters until you reach the intersection. Turn right at the intersection onto Daehak-ro Street and continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach the 'Itaewon Station' (이태원역) on Line 6. Take the subway towards 'Sinsa Station' and get off at 'Itaewon Station'. Once you exit the station, take Exit 2 and walk straight for about 300 meters, then turn left onto Hangangjin-ro. After about 200 meters, you will see the entrance of 'Budungang Historic Park' where the Ryu Gwan-sun Monument is located.

    From your current location, find the nearest bus stop and take Bus No. 405, 421, or 740. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the nearest departure time. Ride the bus until you reach the 'Itaewon Station' bus stop. After getting off, walk towards Itaewon Station, and from there, take Exit 2. Walk straight for about 300 meters and turn left onto Hangangjin-ro. Continue for about 200 meters, and you will arrive at 'Budungang Historic Park', where the Ryu Gwan-sun Monument is located.
