Getting There

  • Car

    From the city center of Gwangju, take the Honam Expressway (Expressway 1) towards Mokpo. Continue on the expressway for approximately 110 km. Take the exit for Wando (Exit 20). Follow the signs to Wando-eup. Once in Wando-eup, navigate to Jangbogo-daero. Wando Tower is located at 330 Jangbogo-daero, Wando-eup, Wando-gun, Jeollanam-do. There is parking available near the tower.

  • Public Transportation (Bus from Gwangju)

    From Gwangju Bus Terminal, take an intercity bus to Wando. Buses run frequently (approximately every hour) and the journey takes about 2.5 to 3 hours. The bus fare is around 10,000 KRW. Once you arrive at Wando Bus Terminal, you can take a local taxi or walk to Wando Tower, which is about 3 km away (approximately a 40-minute walk).

  • Public Transportation (Ferry from Mokpo)

    If you're in Mokpo, take a ferry to Wando. Ferries depart from Mokpo Ferry Terminal and the trip takes about 1 hour. Ferry fares range from 10,000 to 15,000 KRW depending on the type of seat.
