If you're driving, head towards Jangheung-gun in South Jeolla Province. From Gwangju, take the Honam Expressway (Route 25). Exit at Jangheung Interchange and follow the signs towards Jangheung. Once in Jangheung, continue to follow the local roads to Cheongwansan. Keep your GPS handy for the final stretch as it will guide you directly to the parking area near the mountain.

For public transportation, take a bus from Gwangju to Jangheung. Buses frequently depart from Gwangju Bus Terminal to Jangheung Bus Terminal. The journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at Jangheung Bus Terminal, you can take a local taxi to Cheongwansan. The taxi ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes and will cost around 15,000 KRW.
