Subway
From Suwon Station, take Line 1 (the dark blue line) towards Seoul. After 15 stops, get off at City Hall Station. Transfer to Line 2 (the green line) and take one stop towards Hongdae. Get off at Gyeongbokgung Station. Exit through Exit 7, and walk straight for about 10 minutes to reach Gwanghwamun Square.
Bus
From Suwon Station, find the bus stop for Bus 3000. Take this bus heading towards Seoul for about 50 minutes. Get off at Gwanghwamun Station. From there, follow the signs for Gwanghwamun Square, which is just a short walk away.
Taxi
You can take a taxi directly from anywhere in Suwon to Gwanghwamun Square. Just tell the driver 'Gwanghwamun Square' or show them the address: 172 Sejong-daero, Jongno District, Seoul. The ride will take approximately 40 minutes, depending on traffic.
