Getting There

  • Subway

    Start at Suwon Station (수원역). Take Line 1 (the dark blue line) towards the direction of Seodongtan (서동탄). Travel for 12 stops and get off at Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station (동대문역사문화공원역). Transfer to Line 4 (the light blue line) and head towards the direction of Danggogae (당고개). After 9 stops, get off at Danggogae Station (당고개역). From there, take Exit 2 and walk straight for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach Samgaksan Doseonsa Temple, located at 504 Samyang-ro 173-gil, Gangbuk-gu, Seoul.

    From Suwon Station (수원역), find the bus stop located outside the station. Take Bus 5002 towards Gangbuk. Stay on the bus for approximately 45 minutes, and get off at the 'Doseonsa Temple' (도선사) stop. From the bus stop, walk about 300 meters up Samyang-ro 173-gil, and you will reach Samgaksan Doseonsa Temple.
