Getting There

Subway
From Suwon Station, take Line 1 (the blue line) towards Incheon. After approximately 5 minutes, get off at the 'Suwon City Hall' station. Exit the station and head towards the 'Suwon Hwaseong Museum' by walking straight for about 1 kilometer. You will pass by the City Hall and continue straight until you reach Changnyong-daero. Turn left onto Changnyong-daero, and you will find the museum on your right after a short walk.

Bus
From Suwon Station, head to the bus stop located to the southwest of the station. Take bus number 3 or 10. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Suwon Hwaseong Museum' stop. From there, the museum is just a short walk away. Head towards the entrance of the museum, which will be visible from the bus stop.

If you are already in central Suwon, you can walk to the Suwon Hwaseong Museum. Start from the Paldalmun Gate, which is a famous landmark in Suwon. Head south towards the Hwaseong Fortress wall. Follow the wall until you reach the 'Hwaseong Haenggung Palace.' From there, continue along the path that leads to Changnyong-daero.
