If you are traveling by car, start your journey from any central location in the Gwandong Region. Use a GPS or a navigation app and enter the address: 271-156 지동, Paldal-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do. The village is located approximately 30-40 minutes from major cities in the Gwandong Region. Upon arrival, find parking in the designated areas around the village to explore the murals on foot.
Public Transportation - Bus
For those opting for public transportation, take a bus from your current location to Suwon. You can catch buses to Suwon from various parts of Gwandong Region. Once you reach Suwon, look for local buses heading to Paldal-gu. Specifically, you can take bus number 13 or 60, which will drop you off near Jidong Mural Village. The ride from Suwon city center to the village takes about 20 minutes. Be prepared to pay a fare, typically around 1,200 KRW for the bus.
Public Transportation - Train
Another option is to take a train to Suwon Station, which is well-connected to other cities in the region. From Suwon Station, you can either take a taxi to Jidong Mural Village (approximately a 10-minute ride costing around 5,000 KRW) or use local buses as mentioned earlier. If you choose to walk from the station, it will take roughly 30 minutes.
