To reach Donghaksa via public transportation, take a bus from Yeongdong Bus Terminal. Look for buses heading to Gongju; the journey takes approximately 1 hour. Upon arrival at Gongju Bus Terminal, you will need to transfer to a local bus (Bus No. 101) that goes directly to Donghaksa. The bus ride from Gongju to Donghaksa takes about 30 minutes. Make sure to have some cash handy for bus fares, which may cost around 1,200 KRW for the city bus.
