If you are traveling by car, start by navigating to the Haeinsa Temple located at 122 Haeinsa-gil, Gaya-myeon, Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do. From Yeongdong Region, you can take National Route 5 heading south. Follow the signs to Gyeongsangnam-do. After approximately 1 hour of driving, take the exit for National Route 33 towards Hapcheon. Continue on National Route 33 for about 30 minutes until you see signs for Haeinsa Temple. Turn onto Haeinsa-gil and follow the road until you arrive at the temple. There is parking available near the temple, but expect a small fee of around 2,000 KRW per hour.

For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Yeongdong to Jinju or Hapcheon. Buses run regularly from Yeongdong Intercity Bus Terminal. The fare is approximately 10,000 KRW and the journey takes around 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Jinju or Hapcheon bus stations, you will need to catch a local bus to Haeinsa Temple. Look for buses heading towards Gaya-myeon, and the fare is about 2,000 KRW. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes. Make sure to confirm with the bus driver that their route stops at Haeinsa Temple before boarding. The temple is a short walk from the bus stop.
