From major cities like Daegu or Pohang, take the Gyeongbu Expressway (Expressway 1) towards Gwangju. After approximately 150 km, take the exit toward Jeonggok and continue on Route 27. Follow the signs toward Sinan-gun, then take Route 4. After arriving in Jeungdo-myeon, look for signs to Taepyeong Salt Farm. The farm is approximately 5 km from Jeungdo-myeon center. Parking is available on-site.

    To reach Taepyeong Salt Farm using public transportation, start by taking a bus to Sinan-gun from Daegu or Pohang. The bus terminal in Daegu (Daegu Intercity Bus Terminal) offers frequent services to Sinan-gun. The journey will take around 2-3 hours, and the bus fare is approximately 15,000 KRW. Once you arrive at Sinan-gun, transfer to a local bus bound for Jeungdo. This bus ride will take about 30-40 minutes and cost around 3,000 KRW. Get off at the Jeungdo-myeon stop and from there, you can either walk (about 5 km) to Taepyeong Salt Farm or take a local taxi, which should cost around 10,000 KRW.
