If you're driving, start your journey by getting onto the Gyeongbu Expressway (Route 1) and head towards Pohang. Continue on Route 1 until you reach the exit for Pohang. Take the exit towards Buk-gu and merge onto Route 31. Follow Route 31, and then take a left onto Duho-dong road. Yeongildae Beach is located at 1015 Duho-dong, Buk-gu, Pohang-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do. There is ample parking available near the beach, but keep in mind that parking fees may apply, typically around 1,000 KRW per hour.

Public Transportation - Bus
For those using public transportation, take a bus to Pohang Bus Terminal. From the terminal, you can catch Bus No. 101, which directly goes to Yeongildae Beach. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to have some cash on hand for the bus fare, which is around 1,200 KRW. Once you arrive at Yeongildae Beach bus stop, it is just a short walk to the beach entrance.

Public Transportation - Train
If you are traveling by train, take a KTX or Saemaul train to Pohang Station. Once you arrive at Pohang Station, exit the station and look for the bus stop outside. You can take Bus No. 101 from there, which will take you directly to Yeongildae Beach. The bus ride is about 30 minutes, with a fare of approximately 1,200 KRW. After getting off at the Yeongildae Beach stop, it’s just a short walk to the beach.
