Getting There

• Train

  From Alicante, head to the Alicante-Terminal train station. You can take the TRAM Line 1 from the city center to the station or walk if it's nearby. Buy a ticket to Sax. The train journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Sax station, exit the station and turn left onto Avenida de la Constitución. Walk straight until you reach Calle del Convento, then turn right. Continue walking until you see the signs for Castillo de Sax, which is a short uphill walk from the town center.

• Bus

  From the Alicante city center, take the bus from the Plaza de los Luceros to Sax. You can check the schedule for the bus number (likely to be line 1 or similar) at the bus stop. The bus ride will take about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Sax bus station, exit and head towards the main square. From there, follow the signs leading to Castillo de Sax, which is located on a hill. It will be a short walk uphill.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Alicante to Castillo de Sax. Simply find a taxi at a designated taxi stand or call one from your hotel. The trip will take approximately 30 minutes. Just inform the driver you want to go to Castillo de Sax, and they will take you directly there.

• Walking

  If you are staying in Sax and want to walk to Castillo de Sax, head towards the town center and look for the signs to the castle. Walk along Calle del Convento and follow the uphill path to the castle. It should take about 20-30 minutes to reach the top, where you can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding area.
