Getting There

  • Bus

    From the center of Alicante, head to the Ctra. de la Estación bus stop. Take the bus line 1 (L1) towards Torrevieja. Stay on the bus for approximately 50 minutes, enjoying the views along the coast. Disembark at the 'Centro de Interpretación Parque Natural La Mata' bus stop. From the bus stop, walk approximately 10 minutes northeast along Ctra. Nacional, following the signs for the Centro de Interpretación.

    From Alicante, take the TRAM Line 1 (L1) from the 'Luceros' station towards 'Bendix' and disembark at 'La Mata'. This journey will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at La Mata, exit the station and catch the local bus 3 (L3) towards Torrevieja. Get off at the 'Centro de Interpretación Parque Natural La Mata' stop. You will then be just a short walk away (about 5 minutes) from the entrance.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the rental shops in Alicante. Head southeast towards the coastal bike path, following the coastline. Continue along the path until you reach Torrevieja. Once in Torrevieja, navigate towards the Ctra. Nacional road, which leads directly to the Centro de Interpretación Parque Natural La Mata.
