Walking
If you're starting from Alicante's central market (Mercado Central), head southwest on Calle San Vicente towards Plaza de los Luceros. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida de Alfonso X el Sabio. Turn left onto Avenida de Alfonso X el Sabio and walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the Plaza de los Luceros. From the plaza, take a right onto Avenida de la Estación and continue walking until you see the entrance to Paseo Explanada de España on your left.

If you are near the Mercado, take Tram Line 1 from the Mercado stop to the Postiguet stop. From the Postiguet stop, walk straight down towards the beach and then turn left onto Paseo Explanada de España. The promenade will be directly in front of you.
