Walking
From the center of Puerto de Alicante, head southeast towards the beach promenade (Paseo de la Explanada). Walk along the promenade until you reach the iconic palm trees and vibrant buildings. Continue walking along the promenade until you reach the intersection with Calle de San Fernando. Turn left onto Calle de San Fernando and continue straight. You will pass several shops and cafes. After approximately 10 minutes, you will arrive at Plaza Puerta del Mar, where Bandera de España is located. Look for the large flag at the square.

Public Transport
If you prefer using public transport, you can take the Tram Line 1 from the nearest stop in Puerto de Alicante. Board the tram heading towards 'Benidorm'. Get off at the 'Alicante - Mercado' stop. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk. Head southeast on Avenida de Alfonso X el Sabio, continue straight until you reach Plaza Puerta del Mar. The total cost for the tram is around €1.45.
