Walking
If you are in the center of Alicante, head towards the Plaza del Ayuntamiento. From the plaza, walk northeast along Calle de San Vicente until you reach the intersection with Avenida de la Rambla. Turn left onto Avenida de la Rambla and continue straight for about 500 meters. You will see the Portal de Elche on your right, just past the intersection with Calle de la Paz.
Bus
Find the nearest bus stop that services the local routes. Take the bus line 24 or 23 towards the city center. Get off at the 'Plaza del Ayuntamiento' stop. From there, walk northeast along Calle de San Vicente until you reach Avenida de la Rambla. Turn left onto Avenida de la Rambla, and the Portal de Elche will be on your right after about 500 meters.
Tram
If you are near the tram station, take the tram line L1 towards 'Bendito.' Get off at the 'Mercado' stop. Once you exit the tram, walk towards Calle de San Vicente, turn left, and continue until you reach Avenida de la Rambla. Turn left again onto Avenida de la Rambla, and the Portal de Elche will be on your right side after approximately 500 meters.
