    If you are starting from the central Alicante area, make your way to the Plaza del Ayuntamiento (Town Hall Square). From the town hall, head northeast towards Calle de San Francisco. Continue walking straight until you reach the main pedestrian street, Avenida de Federico Soto. Turn left onto this avenue and walk towards the Mercado Central (Central Market). Once you reach the market, continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle de la Rambla. Turn right here, and you will soon arrive at the Plaza de Santa María.
