By Car
If you are driving from the city of Córdoba, take the A-45 highway towards Málaga. After about 30 km, take the exit for the A-331 towards Iznájar. Continue on the A-331 for about 15 km until you reach the town of Iznájar. Once in Iznájar, follow signs for 'Castillo de Iznájar' which will lead you to Calle Villa. There is limited street parking available near the castle.
By Public Transport
To reach Castillo de Iznájar using public transport, start by taking a bus from Córdoba to Iznájar. The bus service is operated by 'Transportes Mirasierra' and runs several times a day. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Iznájar's bus station, it is about a 15-minute walk to the castle. Head east on Calle Almaraz, then turn left onto Calle Villa, following the signs for the castle.
Walking from Iznájar Town Center
If you are already in Iznájar, you can walk to Castillo de Iznájar from the town center. From Plaza de las Flores, head southeast on Calle Villa. The castle is located at the end of this street. The walk takes about 10-15 minutes and offers beautiful views of the surrounding area. Be prepared for some uphill walking as you approach the castle.
