    If you are in the center of Ávila, start at the Plaza del Mercado Grande. Head southeast towards Calle de la Catedral and continue straight. You will pass the Ávila Cathedral on your left. Continue down Calle de la Catedral until you reach the end of the street and turn right onto Calle de San Segundo. Follow this street as it curves into Calle de la Estación and continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the bus station, Estación de Autobuses de Ávila. From there, you can take a bus to San Lorenzo de El Escorial. Buses are frequent; check the schedule for the next departure. Once you arrive at the San Lorenzo de El Escorial bus station, exit and walk northwest along Calle de Floridablanca until you reach Av. de Juan de Borbón y Battenberg. The Frailes Garden will be on your left.

    From the Ávila city center, walk to the Estación de Autobuses de Ávila. Once there, purchase a ticket to San Lorenzo de El Escorial. After a short wait, board the bus heading to San Lorenzo de El Escorial. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Upon arrival at the San Lorenzo de El Escorial bus station, exit the bus and head northwest on Calle de Floridablanca. Continue straight until you reach Av. de Juan de Borbón y Battenberg. The Frailes Garden will be on your left.
