Bus
From Badajoz, head to the 'Estación de Autobuses de Badajoz' (Badajoz Bus Station). You can take a local bus or walk, depending on your location in the city. Purchase a ticket to Borba at the ticket counter. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride which usually takes about 1 hour. The bus will drop you off at the main bus stop in Borba. From there, walk towards 'Av. do Povo' which is about a 10-minute walk. The Castle of Borba is located at 103, Av. do Povo 21-23.
Train
Make your way to the 'Estación de Tren de Badajoz' (Badajoz Train Station). From there, take a train towards 'Évora'. After reaching Évora, transfer to a regional train heading to Borba. Once you arrive at Borba station, exit and walk for about 15 minutes towards 'Av. do Povo'. The Castle of Borba is located at 103, Av. do Povo 21-23.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Badajoz. Simply tell the driver to take you to 'Castle of Borba, 103, Av. do Povo'. The journey will take about 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.
Walking
If you are near the border between Badajoz and Borba, you can attempt to walk. However, it is quite a distance (approximately 30 kilometers) and not recommended unless you're prepared for a long hike. Start by heading towards the 'N-5' road and follow signs to Borba. It is advisable to wear comfortable shoes and carry water.
