Turn left onto Avenida de Elvas and walk until you reach the train station, Estación de Badajoz. From there, take the train to Vila Viçosa. Once you arrive at Vila Viçosa train station, exit and turn right onto Rua da Estação. Follow this road until it leads you to the main square of Vila Viçosa. The Igreja de São Bartolomeu is located just a short walk from the square on the left side.
Bus
From the Badajoz bus station, take the bus that goes to Vila Viçosa. Buses run regularly throughout the day, and the journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Vila Viçosa bus station, exit and turn left onto Avenida da Liberdade. Continue straight until you reach the main square of Vila Viçosa. The Igreja de São Bartolomeu will be on your left, just a short walk from the square.
Train
Begin your journey at Badajoz's train station, Estación de Badajoz. Purchase a ticket for Vila Viçosa and board the train. The train ride will take roughly 1 hour. Once you arrive at Vila Viçosa station, exit and head right onto Rua da Estação. Walk straight until you reach the main square of Vila Viçosa, where the Igreja de São Bartolomeu is located. It's a short walk from the square.
