Walking
If you are starting from the Plaza Alta, head southwest towards Calle José de la Luz. Walk down this street until you reach the intersection with Avenida de Colón. Turn left onto Avenida de Colón and continue walking straight. After about 15 minutes, you will arrive at the roundabout where Rotonda de la Pilara is located.
Public Transport
From the Badajoz Bus Station, take Bus Line 2 towards 'Ctra. Madrid Lisboa'. Stay on the bus for 5 stops, and get off at the stop 'Ctra. Madrid Lisboa, 1A'. From there, it is a short walk to Rotonda de la Pilara, which is located right at the intersection.

If you have access to a bicycle, a great route is to start from the Parque de Castelar. Ride north on Calle de Francisco Pizarro, then turn right onto Calle de la Libertad. Continue straight until you reach Avenida de Colón. Turn left onto Avenida de Colón and bike for about 20 minutes until you reach Rotonda de la Pilara.
