Walking
If you are in the heart of Poble Sec, start by heading towards Carrer de Blai, a popular street for tapas bars and shops. Walk northeast until you reach the intersection with Carrer de l'Oliva. Turn right onto Carrer de l'Oliva and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Carrer de Mèxic. Turn left onto Carrer de Mèxic, which will lead you towards the base of Montjuïc. Keep walking for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the foot of the hill.

Public Transport - Funicular
At the base of Montjuïc, you can take the Montjuïc Funicular to ascend the hill. Look for the Funicular station, which is located near the Paral·lel metro station (L2, L3). The ticket for the Funicular costs around €4.10 one-way. Once you take the Funicular, enjoy the scenic views as you ascend. Get off at the top station, which is near the Montjuïc Castle.

Walking from Funicular Station
After exiting the Funicular, follow the signs towards Montjuïc Castle. From there, you can either walk or follow the path that leads to Mirador de l'Alcalde. The walk is approximately 10 minutes. As you make your way, enjoy the beautiful gardens and views over the city. You will see signs directing you to Mirador de l'Alcalde, which is a lovely observation deck with stunning views of Barcelona.
