Follow the signs for Bakio and then for Gaztelugatxe, which will lead you to the BI-631 road. Continue on this road until you reach the parking area near the entrance to Gaztelugatxe. Be aware that parking may incur a fee, typically around €2-€5 depending on the duration of your stay.

To reach Gaztelugatxe using public transportation, take the bus from Bilbao to Bakio. The bus service (Bizkaibus line A3518) operates regularly from Bilbao's Termibus station. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Bakio, you can catch a local taxi for a short ride to the Gaztelugatxe parking area, which should cost around €10-€15. Alternatively, you can walk from Bakio to Gaztelugatxe, which takes approximately 30-40 minutes.
