Car

If you are coming from Bilbao, take the AP-68 motorway for about 65 kilometers, then merge onto the A-1 towards Vitoria-Gasteiz. Continue on the A-1 for about 15 kilometers, then take exit 6 towards Vitoria-Gasteiz. Follow the signs to the city and then to Parque Salburua. Parking is available near the park, but please check for any parking fees that may apply.
Public Transportation
To reach Parque Salburua by public transportation, first make your way to Vitoria-Gasteiz. If you are coming from Bilbao, take a bus from Bilbao Termibus station to Vitoria-Gasteiz. The journey takes about an hour and a ticket costs approximately €10. Once in Vitoria-Gasteiz, you can take the local bus line 3 or 5 from the city center towards Salburua. Get off at the 'Parque Salburua' stop, which is a short walk to the entrance of the park. Bus tickets typically cost around €1.50.
Bicycle
If you prefer to explore the area by bicycle, Vitoria-Gasteiz is very bike-friendly. You can rent a bicycle at various rental stations in the city. From the city center, cycle towards Bulevar de Salburua Kalea following the bike lanes. The park is approximately a 15-20 minute ride from the center. Please ensure you have a bike lock to secure your bicycle while you enjoy the park.
Walking
For those staying nearby or in Vitoria-Gasteiz, walking is a pleasant option to reach Parque Salburua. From the city center, it is about a 30-minute walk. Head south on Calle José María Cagigal, then turn left onto Avenida de los Huetos. Continue straight until you reach Bulevar de Salburua Kalea, where you will find the entrance to the park.
