If you are driving, start by heading towards the town of Forua, which is located in Biscay. From Bilbao, take the A-8 highway west towards Getxo. Continue on the A-8 for approximately 30 kilometers, then take exit 14 towards Gernika. Merge onto the N-634 road and follow the signs to Gernika. Once you reach Gernika, continue on the N-634 until you see signs for Forua. Follow the local roads into Forua, where the Torre de Urdaibai is located. There is usually parking available nearby.

To reach Torre de Urdaibai via public transportation, start by taking a train from Bilbao to Gernika. The train departs from Bilbao Abando station and takes approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Gernika, exit the station and look for the local bus service that connects to Forua. The bus ride is about 10-15 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as they may not run frequently. After arriving in Forua, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Torre de Urdaibai, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
