Car
If you are driving, the Urdaibai Bird Center is located at Orueta Auzoa, 7, 48314 Gautegiz-Arteagako, Bizkaia. From Bilbao, take the A-8 motorway in the direction of San Sebastián. Exit at 12 (Gernika) and then take the BI-2238 towards Gernika. Continue on this road until you reach Gautegiz-Arteagako. Follow the signs to the Urdaibai Bird Center, which is well-marked. There are parking facilities available on-site.

Public Transportation
To reach Urdaibai Bird Center by public transport, start from Bilbao. Take the Bizkaibus line A3518 (from Termibus) heading towards Gernika. Get off at the Gernika stop. From Gernika, you can switch to the local bus line E2 towards Gautegiz-Arteagako. Be sure to check the latest schedules as they may vary by day. Once you arrive in Gautegiz-Arteagako, it is a short walk to the Bird Center.

If you are coming from the Gautegiz-Arteagako bus stop, walk along the main road towards Orueta Auzoa, which is approximately a 10-minute walk. Follow Orueta Auzoa until you see the entrance to the Urdaibai Bird Center. The area is pedestrian-friendly and offers scenic views along the way.
