Funicular
From the city center, head towards the Abando train station. You can take the metro from any nearby station to 'Abando' station. Once at Abando, follow the signs to the 'Funicular de Artxanda' which is about a 10-minute walk from the station. Walk along Gran Vía, turn left onto Echevarrieta street, and continue until you reach the funicular station. Purchase a ticket and board the funicular for a scenic ride up to Artxanda viewpoint. The funicular operates frequently, and the journey will take approximately 3 minutes.

If you prefer to take the bus, you can catch the Bizkaibus line A3518 or A3519 from the city center. Head to the nearest bus stop - one of the central stops is near Plaza Moyúa. Take either bus line towards 'Enekuri' and get off at the 'Artxanda' stop. From there, it’s just a short walk to the viewpoint. Make sure to check the bus schedule as the frequency may vary.

For those feeling adventurous and wanting to explore the area on foot, you can walk to Artxanda viewpoint. Start from the city center, head towards the river and follow the riverside path along the Nervión River. After about 20-30 minutes of walking, you will reach the base of Artxanda hill. From there, you can either continue walking up the hill or take the funicular for the last part of the journey. The scenic views along the way make for a pleasant stroll.
