Public Transport
Start at the Abando train station in central Bilbao. From there, take the Cercanías train (line C1 or C2) towards Plentzia or Mungia. Disembark at the 'Lezama' station. Once you exit the station, head to the bus stop located right outside. Take the Bizkaibus line A-368, which will take you towards Altzusta. Get off at the stop 'Zubizabala', which is the nearest stop to Otzarretako Pagadia. From the bus stop, it's about a 10-minute walk: head down the road towards the river, and you will see signs directing you to Otzarretako Pagadia, which is in a national forest area.

Walking
If you are staying closer to the city center, you can walk to the nearby park and access the trails leading to Otzarretako Pagadia. From Plaza Moyúa, head towards the Gran Vía and continue to the Parque de Doña Casilda. Walk through the park and follow the trails that lead you towards the outskirts of the city. This route may take you approximately 1.5 to 2 hours of walking but offers beautiful views and a chance to enjoy the lush greenery before reaching your destination.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Bilbao. Start at the Bilbao waterfront and follow the bike paths towards the outskirts of the city. Bike along the river, passing through scenic views, and follow the signs for the national park areas. The ride to Otzarretako Pagadia will take about 40 minutes, depending on your pace.
