Metro
If you are near the city center, head to the nearest metro station, which is usually Abando or Moyua. Take Line 1 (the light blue line) towards Etxebarri. Get off at the Abando station. Once you exit the metro station, follow the signs to the main street, Gran Vía. Walk towards the direction of the Plaza Circular and then turn right onto Calle de la Diputación. Continue until you reach the intersection with Calle de los Fueros and turn left. You will soon see Zabalgune Plaza on your left.

Locate a nearby bus stop, as Bilbao has an extensive bus network. Look for buses numbered 56, 19, or 34, which have stops near Zabalgune Plaza. Board the bus and ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop for Zabalgune Plaza. Once you get off, you will see the plaza directly in front of you.

If you are already in the Abando area or nearby, you can walk to Zabalgune Plaza. From the Gran Vía, head south towards the river and cross the Puente de La Salve bridge. After crossing, turn left and follow the riverside path until you reach the plaza. The walk will take about 10-15 minutes, and you will have a pleasant view of the river and surrounding buildings.
