Walking
From the center of Deusto, head southeast towards the river. Walk along the riverside promenade (Paseo de la Ría) for about 15-20 minutes. Keep the river on your left side as you proceed. You will pass by several parks and cafes. As you approach the city center, find the bridge called 'Puente de Deusto' which crosses the river. Cross the bridge, and you will see the cathedral in the distance, situated at Done Jakue Plazatxoa, 1, Ibaiondo. Continue straight and follow the signs towards the cathedral.
Public Transport (Metro)
From any metro station in Deusto, take Line 1 (the 'Ibaraki' line) towards 'Plaza de Eguía'. Get off at the 'Abando' station. Exit the station and follow the signs towards 'Calle Gran Vía'. Walk to the left to reach the main street. Continue straight until you reach the 'Calle de la Ribera' and then follow the directions to the river. Once at the river, head towards the 'Puente de La Ribera' bridge. Cross the bridge and head straight to Done Jakue Plazatxoa, where the Bilboko Donejakue Katedrala is located. This option may incur a metro fare of around €1.50.
Bus
Catch bus number A1 or A2 from the nearest bus stop in Deusto. Board the bus heading towards 'Termibus' and get off at 'Plaza Circular'. From there, walk towards the river and cross the 'Puente de la Ribera' bridge. After crossing, turn left and walk straight until you reach Done Jakue Plazatxoa, 1 where the cathedral is located. The bus fare is approximately €1.50.
